Heritage Scaffolding to the rescue!
A roof of a home was ripped off and vehicles damaged after a tornado struck in Alfreton, Derbyshire. Cars were also overturned over at the junction of Catherine Street and Mansfield Road. Witnesses said they saw a tornado ripping down lampposts and trees. It happened at 3.30pm on a Wednesday afternoon.
But this left a huge problem for the homeowners and their insurers as the house needed to be made safe as soon as possible.
This meant that scaffolding had to be erected quickly to enable the workforce to access the roof and make a full assessment of the damage.
A call to Heritage Scaffolding Thursday lunchtime saw our team immediately on their way and by that afternoon the first stage of our scaffold was up. It was completed on the Friday and the contractors had access to the roof. At the same time we erected scaffolding on a neighbouring damaged property.
Chris White of Tomlinson Contractors, said:
“I would like to thank you for the courteous and professional manner your staff onsite portrayed, ‘first class’.”
Paul Cairns, Managing Director of Heritage Scaffolding, said “We pride ourselves on a fast response and delivering on our promises, and we were delighted to be able to help in this emergency.”
